- It's obvious this man has had his brain relocated somewhere south of his head. Not only has he destroyed his own and this young woman's family, but the trust any of the families and students he came into contact with on a daily basis. I hope that there is some kind of consequence for this jerk.

- First, let me say I don't advocate one method above the other. I believe a woman should do whatever will make her most comfortable. I have two children, both born in hospitals, but they were vastly different experiences, except that they were both done with no drug intervention.

- Klind, I am in an almost identical situation with one of my daugter's friends. She has a father who works at a bar, and when he is not working there, he is drinking there. Her stepmother doesn't care for her that much.

- This story is truly despicable. I can appreciate a good joke or family horseplay as much as the next person, but this is beyond any acceptable boundary. I don't see how any person, much less a parent can find this the slightest bit amusing or funny. To write it off as horseplay is criminal.

- Very interesting food for thought. No one really knows the whole story here. Maybe we as parents tend to invalidate our childrens' feelings, and put it down to bratty or obnoxious behaviour when maybe it is just their child trying to get their attention at a time when they really need it.
